Trade Skills Registration

  • The "Skills Trade Program" is a paid mentoring program.

  • Placement Starts July 1st - August 31st.  

  • During the program students will be paid $18 - $20 per hour.

  • Depending on their availability students can work 10 - 20 hours per week.

  • Students can choose the job site location closest to their home or school.

  • This program is ideal for students looking to add work history to their resume.

 

After Completion

Students can move forward to Pre-Apprenticeship Construction Training Program.

The Pre-Apprenticeship Construction program lasts for 11 weeks.

In this program students will learn blue print reading, hand & power tool use, certification in Flagging, Forklift, OSHA 10, & First Aid / CPR.

Requirements for Pre-Apprenticeship Construction Training Program 

  • Student must have completed "Trade Skills Program".

  • Must be 18 years of age. 

  • Ability to pass a drug test.

  • Good English, Reading Math skills.

  • Must have a High School Diploma or high school equivalent.

  • U.S citizen, permanent resident or DACA approved.

  • Start date for Pre-Apprenticeship program (TBD)
